Buying a property in Spain is no
longer just for the rich, it's becoming more popular and accessible. Start
off by holidaying in the area you're considering. Are there enough
facilities for what you require? Or do the pubs and clubs out-number the
shops? Buying off-plan or new build properties which have yet to be built.
Buyers purchase on the basis of only seeing a show home or development
plan. The advantage to this is you can choose the perfect location and
pick from a number of styles and designs (both exterior and interior) to
construct the Spanish villa or house that you would like to live or
holiday in.
If you're moving to Spain you may want an inland property in Spain
such as a town house or a village house somewhere quieter than the
tourist area of Spain, but if you plan to rent out the house you may
want somewhere more commercial eg a villa on a golf course in Spain or
an apartment near the beach in Spain. A good Spanish estate agent will
help you through the whole purchasing procedure. Research all legal
